This Brass Modern Style Microscope is a beautiful working solid-brass modern reproduction of an antique brass microscope. It has two brass clips to hold a slide, and an adjustable mirror for rear illumination. The focusing knob drives a brass rack and pinion that brings the specimen into focus. The top section of the microscope can tilt back for easier viewing. This microscope has ground glass optics and produces a clear 50 power image.
