The Stanley London® Antique Harbormaster Telescope is mounted on a heavy, solid brass casting and a three-legged solid teak tripod base. This is not the inexpensive 8 - 12 power decorative versions made from thin, easily dented 0.8 mm brass. This newly-redesigned, solid brass refractor, antique reproduction telescope produces a clear 32-power non-inverted image and is made with dent-resistant heavy 1.2 mm thick brass.
Focusing is accomplished by rotating a large adjusting ring near the eyepiece. A sunshade protects the objective lens from glare and the inside of the telescope is coated flat black to improve contrast. A removable brass cap protects the objective lens when the telescope is not in use. This heavy, solid brass telescope is perfect for your office, near a view window, or for celestial observations.
