This solid brass 3" Radius Sextant is fully functional and easily removed from its hardwood plaque. The sextant's telescope can be extended to focus and produces a clear and bright magnified image. There are four dark swing-arm filters, and a built-in powerful magnifier that can be swung into position to assist in reading the vernier scale. The sextant has a gear-driven adjustment for the index arm.

While the sextant is fully functional, it is not calibrated nor intended for navigation. The plaque has Roman edges, as well as room for a small brass plaque at the top.
