BOTANIVORE GIN
Botanivore says “forever” as only a distiller could. When the love of master distiller Lance Winters’ life asked why he didn’t make her favorite spirit, his answer was St. George Botanivore Gin. Its “meadow in bloom” balance of tangy citrus, bright hops, fresh herbs, and exotic spices has been winning the hearts of drink lovers ever since.
Fresh and elegantly herbaceous, with bright citrus, subtle floral notes, earth, and spice, Botanivore is remarkable for its range of flavor. Because it has so many botanicals, different ones show up in different drinks. It’s a perfectly balanced, deeply layered gin.
Botanivore shines in a Gibson, where the onion brings out its savory notes. It’s dazzling as a Spanish-style Gin Tonica as it dances with the garnishing botanicals. Botanivore’s dill seed and caraway bring extra nuance to a Snapper. A Southside highlights the citrus and ginger in Botanivore’s botanical bill.
ST. GEORGE TERROIR GIN
Terroir began with a hike and a fir tree. Master distiller Lance Winters created St. George Terroir Gin to evoke the magic of the forest. Wildcrafted Douglas fir and locally foraged California bay laurel form its signature, while coastal sage and wok-roasted coriander connote the hillside chaparral.
Terroir is a forest in your glass with ultra woodsy notes of Douglas fir, California bay laurel and a hint of citrus. Coastal sage and wok-roasted coriander suggest hillside thickets, while angelica root and cinnamon evoke the dusty smell of the trail.
Terroir is stunning on the rocks or in a Martini. It is also lovely in a Collins garnished with fennel, bay leaf, or whatever fresh herbs you have on hand. Its outdoorsy notes make for a perfect Bramble. When mixed with sweet vermouth and Bruto Americano (ala a Negroni) we call the drink an American Werewolf.
