Simon Tissot Dupont, founder of iconic French luxury house ST. Dupont, was just 25 when he decided to move to Paris. Simon was determined to make a name for himself and established a prestigious leather goods workshop. He manufactured wallets and "maroquins", the attaché-cases of the time, with the initials of senior civil servants. He became quite popular with Parisian high society and eventually became the official supplier to the Magasins du Louvre. Today, S.T. Dupont continues to create luxurious accessories for the royal-at-heart.
