The bubble-gum pink 2019 La Pluma Rosé gives off an enticing aroma of melon and strawberry and made from 100% Sangiovese grapes—Mendocino’s best-kept secret. A bone-dry wine, it’s rare to find an Italian Rosé of Sangiovese here in California, but it’s winemaker Jiri Knedlik's favorite grape to work with, making this his pride and joy.

The 2019 La Pluma Sauvignon Blanc hails from Paso Robles & the Arroyo Grande Valley regions of San Luis Obispo, part of California's Central Coast. With miles of rolling hills and coastal surf towns, the Central Coast mixes cool fog with island heat to make a fresh and crisp Sauvignon Blanc. This Sauvignon Blanc is a young wine with notes of lemon verbena, grapefruit, and a piercing, peppery aroma drags you into a mouth-watering balance of acidity and flavor with no sugar and a dry finish.

Bold, audacious, and lingering, the 2018 Fortune Favors Cabernet Sauvignon takes its cue from the region once known as a haven for renegades and bandits on the run. Its ripe and fruit flavors of black cherry, plum, and blackberry fruit pair with oak toast, tobacco, and spice while soft, silky tannins offer a rounded and lingering finish.

The 2018 Fortune Favors Chardonnay comes from grapes sourced from two distinct vineyards. With a prominent Pacific Ocean influence, this bright and clean white has elegant notes of Meyer lemon, honeydew melon, and aromas of peach and golden pear. Paired with a hint of oak, toast and caramelized apples, this Chardonnay is pleasant and lingers on the palate.

The 2017 Balance of Powers Cabernet Sauvignon comes directly from the mecca of California winemaking. Complete with all of the qualities that made Napa Valley famous, this Cabernet presents toasted oak and currant mixed with blackberry and hints of vanilla. It’s round tannins provide a silky texture that makes this wine totally irresistible.

For the enthusiasts and novices alike, the 2018 Balance of Powers Red Blend pays an exciting homage to the roots of California winemaking. It features ripe cherry, blackberry, and hints of smokey oak. Its balanced flavor pairs cured meat and spice with dense fruit. As a field blend, this wine is a true throwback to old California where varietals were interplanted in the same vineyards.

Made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes from Mendocino and grown in a perfectly cool climate in the Salinas Valley, the 2018 Stealing Thunder Pinot Noir has hints of cherry, plum and raspberry that offer a balanced texture that leaves a lasting impression. Paired with wild game, tea leaves, and mushroom, it’s the essential smell and flavor that beckons another sip.

Proving the syrah grape is underrated, the 2018 Stealing Thunder Syrah was hand-harvested from Mendocino county and delivered straight to the winery while the fruit was still cold. With it’s perfectly preserved meaty, cherry-filled, and smokey flavor, this varietal is finally getting the recognition it deserves.
