The Pepper Owl is a high-quality pepper grinder made from rich maple wood, and equipped with an esteemed ceramic grinder from Crush Grind.

Designer Jesper Wolff’s idea was to create a natural, vibrant, and functional grinder inspired by the adventurous life in the Nordic forests. He found something amusing in the ability of an owl to turn its head 270 degrees around, which made it the obvious design subject for a pepper or salt grinder. He thought there was something paradoxical and humorous in designing a pepper mill that peers innocently at the world until you twist the owl’s head to grind pepper.
