A popular choice for bedroom décor, this Gray Himalayan Salt Lamp Natural Cut highlights its rough, massive form with smoky shadows. The gray color of these unique lamps comes from a rare vein of Himalayan Salt with a different composition of minerals than the more common amber and white deposits. Although these lamps are predominately gray, white salt or amber salt may be also present due to varying concentration of minerals in the salt, and the individually handmade nature of the lamps.

Equal parts home décor and wellness tool, this Himalayan salt lamp - made from 250 million-year-old ancient salt crystal - emits an ambient glow and negative ions which naturally recharge the air and reduce allergens. This is because Himalayan crystal salt is hygroscopic, meaning that it absorbs moisture from the air, while the heat from the bulb keeps the lamp dry, and produces the negative ion emission. For best results, try to keep your lamp lit as often as possible. And if you’re in a particularly humid area, place your lamp near an air conditioning vent to help reduce the moisture collected.

Keep your lamp on a flat surface that can be easily cleaned, and protected if your environment produces excess moisture in your lamps. When necessary, wipe lamp down gently with a damp cloth. Each lamp is one of a kind; colors, tone, shapes and sizes may vary from the pictures.
