Southern Lights Electric was founded in 2011 by husband and wife team Adam and Jamie Gatchel. Adam is the principal designer, and is originally from Chicago, which left its impact on his design, as Southern Lights Electric pieces draw on modern and mid-century influences, as well as architecture, art and nature. Each product is built in-house by a small team of craftsmen. Specializing in hospitality design lighting, the company's projects include restaurants, hotels, and high end retail stores across the globe.
