Louise Vilsgaard + Pernille Lembcke

Sort Of Coal co-founder Louise Vilsgaard was drawn into a store in Kyoto stacked high with boxes of a strange black substance. Vilsgaard is a former ceramic artist so, at first, it was her creative eye that was captivated by the extraordinary aesthetics of White Charcoal.

Pernille Lembcke’s first experience of White Charcoal came, as yours might, in a glass of water given to her by a friend. Lembcke has a background in film and commercial business and is currently committed to bringing Sort Of Coal into a new market.
