Product Description

Bincho is a combination of a beautiful glass water bottle and a Kishu Binchotan - everything you need to begin your new ritual of turning tap water into pleasant tasting mineral water. Kishu Binchotan adsorbs chlorine from tap water (by up to 75%), softening it and improving its taste, whilst also adding minerals, such as potassium and magnesium. The bottle is the perfect form to hold and display the Kishu Binchotan and is made from mouthblown glass for Sort Of Coal by excellent Danish designers.

Louise Vilsgaard + Pernille Lembcke

Sort Of Coal co-founder Louise Vilsgaard was drawn into a store in Kyoto stacked high with boxes of a strange black substance. Vilsgaard is a former ceramic artist so, at first, it was her creative eye that was captivated by the extraordinary aesthetics of White Charcoal.

Pernille Lembcke’s first experience of White Charcoal came, as yours might, in a glass of water given to her by a friend. Lembcke has a background in film and commercial business and is currently committed to bringing Sort Of Coal into a new market.
