The Snug Shield Face Mask is the culmination of extensive research, development, and testing. Each face mask is composed of 4 layers to filter 95% of fine particles. In addition to a layer of antimicrobial copper-ion lining, this mask combines an N99 meltblown filter with a layer of 100% polypropylene, and a high quality cotton fabric layer that ensures it remains comfortable on your skin. Designed to be easy to wash, clean, and reuse, each mask is finished with easily adjustable ear loops to provide a snug fit for all users.

Does it have a way to accept an additional filter?

It does not have a pocket or pouch to accept additional filters. Please note however that this is not a thin textile mask. This mask is made up of 4 layers and includes an in-built melt blown filter. The mask as a whole has been tested for its filtration efficiency and breathability.

Are the ear loops rigid or do they have some elasticity to them?

The ear loops are not rigid, they do have some elasticity to them. Moreover, the ear loops are also adjustable so you can really tailor the fit of the mask to your face which allows for a great snug and comfortable fit.
