Luigi Sardo was founded in 2011 by Markus, who was studying university in Australia’s Gold Coast. While he lived there, he embraced the beach lifestyle, walking barefoot for nearly a whole year. Inspired by this experience, he set out to design shoes that were minimal, but still durable enough to withstand a non tropical climate.
