Based in Lincoln, Nebraska, Slate-ish Composite Stone Tiles are the creation of a small, family-owned business founded in 2001 to bring green building materials to the Midwest. The initial idea was discovered by accident while installing Richlite countertops. They noticed the process left a lot of scrap material, and a chance encounter with a dropped piece gave them a brilliant idea of how to repurpose it.
