Slashed into manageable pieces so it fits neatly in a box, this beautifully crafted piece of furniture assembles in less than 10 minutes while maintaining exceptional strength, a minimalist aesthetic, and the ability to be taken apart and reassembled countless times.
Each frame is carefully crafted by skilled artisans in Indonesia using locally sourced and naturally treated wood, so no two beds ever look exactly the same. The combination of these durable natural materials with its simple, yet sturdy design means that every Slash/Bed™ is equipped to withstand the wear and tear of daily use without losing strength at the screws like traditional beds.
The contrasting wood slash allows the pieces of the frame to fold directly in half for easy packing and carrying, so once it's disassembled, you can effortlessly transport or store the pieces without taking up valuable storage space. Whether you're moving houses, rooms, or just refreshing your bedroom layout, Slash/Bed™ makes moving easier than ever.

About the Designer
Born in Brussels Belgium, Christopher White is a classically trained woodworker with the eye of an artist. White studied woodworking in both Bordeaux and the Basque Country in France, achieving his CAP (certificat d'aptitude professionnelle) in 1999 and going on to work throughout France and the US. Inspired by the natural beauty around him, he believes in executing his client's vision while staying attuned to the grain of the wood he is working with, and strives to express this outwardly in every piece he creates.
