Defeat But Not Despair
Product Description
This painstakingly crafted image is the result of the years-long process by Silver Arrows' team of artists, engineers and designers. A photographic-recreation of a great moment in automobile history, it's printed on Hahnemuhle paper for an ultra-sophisticated finish.
The most formidable cars and drivers of their time sit, broken down and humiliated, in the pits as they wait for their future teammate, Louis Chiron, to eventually win the French Grand Prix for Alfa Romeo in a far inferior machine. It was a tough lesson for the Silver Arrows, and one not to be repeated.
