Does the unit require distilled water?

Distilled or filtered water is not required, however, its use will add longevity to the filter.

Can you add essential oils anywhere on the machine?

It is not recommended to add oil to the water, however, you can drop the oil on a patch and put it in the middle of the top cover.

Is there a filter that needs cleaning or replacing?

Yes, we recommend changing the filter every 3months.
