Sharp Edge Knives
Deba Knife // Hammered Finish
Product Description
This Hammered Deba is a single bevel knife primarily intended for filleting fish and chicken. This knife has a thin spine for a deba, so it can also be used as a small multi-purpose santoku-like knife.
The blade is forged from White steel #2 (Shirogami) with visible traces of hammer and the kuro-uchi protective patina. It is intended for experienced knife owners who know how to handle and take care of knives made of White steel #2, which will develop some patina due to the high amount of carbon in its chemical structure. The handle is made of Magnolia wood with a plastic ferrule.
