Turn your wall into a work of art with Scribit. This automated write & erase robot can be easily installed in your home or office to draw high quality images on any standard plaster wall, glass, or dry erase surface. All Scribit markers are safely erasable so Scribit can draw, erase, and re-draw content an infinite number of times and bring a new image to your wall every day.

Scribit uses two wheels to climb (almost) any type of smooth, vertical, indoor surface and draws with four markers at a time to create a wide palette of colors. Two nails and a plug are all you need to install. Once in place, this little robot can move with great precision to reproduce any type of content. Choose from 1000+ pre-made designs available on the free Scribit gallery app or upload your own SVG via the desktop app. You can even convert your favorite photos to make them scribitable!

When you're ready for something new, you can easily erase the drawing with a damp cloth, or—when used with the included Plaster Markers on smooth plaster surfaces—with the help of the robot’s automatic eraser.

FAQ

Will this work on drywall?

In order to guarantee a perfect functioning and visual result in every occasion just by using our Original Plaster Marker there is a number of characteristics which your "wallboard" must have:

SMOOTH: If the surface is too rough and textured, the marker will be worn out sooner and the trace won’t be continuous. Moreover, Scribit is likely to not be stable, resulting in poor drawing quality. Poor quality white paints tend to leave some kind of chalk powder on the marker’s tip: this prevents the marker from working properly after few minutes of drawing only. That would be the case not only regarding the Scribit Original Plaster Markers but applies to any marker available on the market.
WHITE: Drawing on non-white wall is an option and sometimes it can result in very interesting effects, but you should be aware that the visual result with some colors might be compromised - for example, green marker on light green wall won’t be very visible, since our original green is not intense in color. Scribit Original Plaster Markers are not visible on black/dark gray wall paint, especially if the paint is the blackboard one, designed for chalk.
WASHABLE: Standard wall paints are often washable. This property is suggested but not mandatory for your wall, especially if you plan to use frequently the Scribit erasing system. A washable wall paint as well is very suitable solution for a quick and effortless manual erasing with a damp cloth, for example.

Can you use it on stretched canvas? If so, will the ink bleed if water-based acrylic is applied over the lines?

Theoretically, Scribit can work on all smooth surfaces. On paper and canvas, it works perfectly as well, but these are not the surfaces it has been primarily designed for.

Do I need WiFi to use it?

Yes, Scribit needs to be connected to the WiFi Network.

What format does the drawing need to be?

The format should be in SVG.
