Stainless steel is a beautiful and versatile metal. From cookware and silverware to surgical devices, stainless steel plays a role in all of our lives at different times. Stainless was added to the Schon DSGN collection in 2016, and provides a more robust, weighted rendition of the classic Schon DSGN pen. The #01P PVD DLC Stainless Steel Pen features a brass slotted set screw, cut by one of the oldest screw manufacturers in Massachusetts. A variant on the #01S Pen, PVD stands for physical vapor deposition and DLC stands for diamond like carbon. This finish is black, very tough, and is found in the CNC tooling industry as well as the high end watch market. Manufactured in small batches right outside of Boston MA, this pen is 100% USA made, and is tumbled in small batches to achieve a matte finish.
