The Sacrament of the Last Supper
Product Description
For Dali, physics helped revitalize his lapsed Catholicism, as he perceived the then-new scientific discovery that humans are made of energy and not matter as a deeply exciting and inspiring fact. This new phase of Dali's life was referred to by him as his Nuclear Mysticism phase. This painting was recreated several times by Dali, but has never been agreed upon in terms of translation and meaning.

About the Designer
Spanish artist Salvador Dalí (1904 – 1989) was a groundbreaking icon of the Surrealist movement and one of the greatest artists of the 20th century. Extraordinarily imaginative, he also sculpted, and contributed to fashion, photography and theater. His surreal paintings are characterized by a refined sense of light and space often attributed to his study of Renaissance master works. In contemporary art, Dalí is now a master of his own movement.
