Explosion
Product Description
Also known as The Melting Watch, Clock Explosion, and Explosion, Soft Watch at the Moment of First Explosion is a definitive work of the surrealist master Salvador Dali. As with all surrealist art, the aim is to identify elements of reality, and then to exploit them in a way that makes us view it in a new light. Dali's take on the impossible concept of time, as it defies logic to explode and float and reform itself, is a perfect example of what Dali does best.

About the Designer
Spanish artist Salvador Dalí (1904 – 1989) was a groundbreaking icon of the Surrealist movement and one of the greatest artists of the 20th century. Extraordinarily imaginative, he also sculpted, and contributed to fashion, photography and theater. His surreal paintings are characterized by a refined sense of light and space often attributed to his study of Renaissance master works. In contemporary art, Dalí is now a master of his own movement.
