About the Designer

Rustico started when Isaac Childs and his good friends picked a journey to craft lifestyle accessories that inspire. They created some ever popular original pieces and barely held their first online store together. But the experience evolved. Orders poured in, and they kept hitting the workshop, crafting things right. Today you'll find Isaac living the way of American artisans—building pride in every product and making every piece count. Occasionally he takes a breather on the trailside and peek back at how he got here. It's a good view.
Nothing inspires him quite like the rivers he stands to fish in, but Isaac’s most poignant ideas come while he’s road tripping across America. The diversity of large cities like NYC, San Francisco, LA and Chicago are extremely motivational to him, and he enjoys browsing through small boutiques and local markets, where he often finds authenticity at its core. When asked about Rustico products, the first thing he does is pull out his own Money Clip Wallet from his back pocket and show off with pride the patina marked on the leather. It’s unique, and you can tell there is a story behind it, just like every Rustico product made.
