"Floating and expressive. When I was designing the vase, I was observing the light and nature surrounding me in order to discover the most sculptural and beautiful form. I wanted to create a vase with a light design and the ability to rest in itself. Therefore, I created a vase, which gives you the impression that it is floating on the table, a vase with a decorative and sculptural expression."

Lin Utzon

Lin Utzon found the inspiration for the motif in the gossamer lace curtains in Karen Blixen’s home at Rungstedlund. “Tanne” was Karen Blixen’s nickname, and the range suggests simplicity and elegance – just as we would expect from Karen Blixen’s sure sense of style.
