This decorative Ankole Horn takes a beautifully polished, ethically sourced Ankole cow horn and sets it atop a handcrafted Mugavu wood base, bringing a rare material to bookshelves and tabletops in a completely refined way.

Due to the considerable size of Ankole horns and their wide range of naturally occurring colors, each cow horn is truly one-of-a-kind, so no two are exactly alike. Ankole cow horn is indigenous to East Africa, making this material extremely rare. Additionally, each Mugavu base was individually crafted from start to finish by an artisan in a fair trade environment in Uganda. Imperfections are expected and contribute to the uniqueness of your handmade good.
