This package includes a Lightpad Block, Snapcase Solo, and six additional NOISE soundpacks.

The Lightpad Block is an affordable 5D MIDI controller, and the centerpiece of the modular music studio. The pliable, pressure-sensitive surface lets you shape sound through gliding, pressing, lifting and other intuitive gestures, on a glowing grid of squares that guides you to make beats and shape melodies. The Lightpad Block is powered by NOISE, a free iOS app that doubles as a high-powered soft synth, connecting wirelessly via MIDI over Bluetooth. This new generation of expressive pad controller is groundbreaking in its portability, and versatility to making any kind of sound. The possibilities only begin with this Block, which can be connected to others in a modular, customizable system.

This package also includes the Snapcase Solo. Made of premium materials, this versatile case magnetically attaches to your Lightpad Block so you can safely and easily transport it anywhere you make music. The flexible, foldable cover shields the silicone surface from dust, spills, and damage. Snapcase Solo also acts as a chassis and base for your studio. When you’re ready to play, just unfold the case and start making music.

This set also comes with 6 additional soundpacks that can be added to your NOISE library. These custom soundpacks suit an array of musical genres including hip hop, dubstep, ambient, pop, and cinematic music. Each soundpack has been custom built by ROLI sound engineers to take full advantage of the expressive potential of BLOCKS. This assortment also includes Spoonful of Grit, a soundpack designed by RZA, the legendary artist behind Wu-Tang Clan.
