The drekar, or dragon-headed longship, was a Viking vessel powered by sail and oarsmen. One of the best preserved of these sea craft is the oaken Oseberg Ship, discovered in a burial mound in Norway. Inspired by their mythical majesty, this solid sterling silver pendant is an oversized 1.25 inches with a subtle curved shape and slides along a rusty reddish cord. The supple leather is vegetable dyed for old-school authenticity and secures with a sterling silver forged hook clasp.
