Is this a stand alone camera or does it have to pair with the smart gate control?

This is a stand-alone camera. It comes with a power supply and mounting material (screws to fix it to any wall). When installing the camera, make sure you can drill a hole or have sufficient space for the pig tale cable (where you have the power DC jack and the Ethernet connector in case you prefer wired connection rather than Wi-Fi).

Do you need a cellular plan to use this camera?

No, this camera connects to your network either via Wi-Fi or via Ethernet. Once the connection to your network is established, you can connect to it locally (when connected to a home network) or remotely (via your existing cellular network).

Is there a monthly subscription fee?

No, this IP Camera has no monthly subscription fee. Simply connect the camera to your Wi-Fi network (via Wi-Fi or Ethernet) and start enjoying it from the ismartgate Cam app.

Does the camera come with a SD memory slot?

This IP Camera does not include an SD card memory slot.

If this is wireless, why do I need the internet cord?

The Ethernet cable is provided in case you want a wired connection. It is not really necessary.
