This brand-new Titanic DNA “A La Grande” T-OXY III watch possesses a Swiss mechanical self-winding automatic movement and features the C22RJ51-Concepto caliber, 23 jewels, 28,800 vph, and a 42-hour power reserve. It is part of a limited edition; as such, only 2,012 pieces were produced worldwide. The unique case is crafted of a blend of steel from the wreck of the Titanic and steel provided by the Harland & Wolff shipyard in Belfast. It also features a rivet-encrusted bezel comprised of actual rusted steel from the Titanic, which has been stabilized. The dusky, mysterious case measures a robust 50 mm in diameter (excluding the crown), is 16 mm in height, and rests upon a black rubber strap with a deployant clasp. Features a display case back that reveals the inner workings of the movement, a screw-down crown in stainless steel with black rubber, and a water resistance to 50 m / 5 atm.
The black-colored dial has been remarkably darkened with coal recovered from the wreck of the Titanic, and it prominently features rusted traverses with rivets. The bold Arabic applied numerals are prominent and easy to read. In addition, the wholly unique skeletonized hour and minute hands are inspired by the anchor of the doomed ship. This handsome watch comes complete with its original boxes and papers.
