Woolly Rhino Authentic Ice Age Fossil Skull + Display Stand
Product Description
This jaw-dropping collection from RARE-T features a staggering array of authentic antiques, artifacts, oddities, skulls, and cruelty-free taxidermy from various eras in history.
This particular piece is an authentic, incredibly rare, and fully complete Siberian Woolly Rhinoceros Skull (Coelodonta Antiquitatis). These gigantic beasts of the Ice Age that lived in the frozen tundra had the largest horns of any rhino. This incredible extinct animal has been fossilized over the prior 20,000 years. Early man would often depict these magnificent animals in their cave drawings, including in the famous French Chauvet Cave.
This example of Ice Age Megafauna was only known to the modern world by these cave drawings until a largely-complete specimen was excavated in a Polish tar pit. This skull is ~41" tall and ~32" long and the horns are museum-grade casts. Unique and one-of-a-kind, you'll receive the exact piece shown in the photos. It comes with a custom stand ready to be displayed. Complete with a certificate of authenticity, this crown jewel of any collection is an investment that will only get better with age.
