Product Description

This jaw-dropping collection from RARE-T features a staggering array of authentic antiques, artifacts, oddities, skulls, and cruelty-free taxidermy from various eras in history.

This custom museum display showcases an authentic pair of bone dice (yes, dice made out of real bones), dating from 250 AD from the Roman Era. Dice such as these were carried all across the Roman Empire by traveling, marching legionnaires during the 1st to 3rd centuries AD. After a long, hard day of toil and misery soldiers would congregate rowdily around fires, and in taverns, drinking and playing games of chance with their dice.

Each of these dice were hand carved from a single piece of bone, and made small enough to be carried in the mouth, if need be. They were discovered at a Roman military encampment near the Danube River in Eastern Europe.

They're protected under plexiglass in a custom display to keep it looking pristine, ensuring protection of your investment while allowing you to fully appreciate this piece of collectible ancient history. The customized descriptive metallic plaque, in addition to the detailed finishing, add to the elegant, gallery quality look. Complete with a certificate of authenticity, this piece is an investment that will only get better with age.
