The African T-Rex was one of the largest theropod dinosaurs. It's estimated to have reached 26 feet in length and weighed around 4.5 tons, and could have consumed nearly 375lbs of flesh in a single bite. The African T-Rex was among the last of the non-avian dinosaurs to exist prior to the Cretaceous-Paleogene extinction event approximately 66 million years ago.
