Han Solo + Chewbacca // Limited Edition Vintage Statue

Star Wars is one of the most beloved, critically-acclaimed, and commercially successful film franchises of all time. Since 1977, it has captured the imaginations of audiences young and old with its heart, heroism, and exhilarating intergalactic adventures.

In the latest movie installment, Solo: A Star Wars Story, a young Han Solo meets his future copilot Chewbacca, and notorious gambler Lando Calrissian. Together they set off on a journey that will set the course of the saga's most unlikely hero. In honor of the landmark film, this specially-curated collection from RARE-T features a staggering array of hand-signed memorabilia from across the Star Wars universe.

This Limited Edition Han Solo and Chewbacca statue set is a rare vintage piece. Jumping straight out of A New Hope, the inseparable smuggling duo stands side by side ready to take on the forces of the evil galactic Empire. Literally from different worlds (Corellia and Kashyyyk), Han Solo and Chewbacca formed an unlikely yet lasting friendship that would resonate with fans from their first appearance. Ready to take on anything the Empire might throw at them, the pair of space scoundrels advance in turn as they point their weapons at hordes of ineffective Stormtroopers.

Solo wears his iconic outfit consisting of a white shirt, navy vest, orange-striped blue pants, belt with holster and tall black boots. Meanwhile, his Wookie partner is ''au naturel'' as usual, covered in thick brown fur broken up only by his bandolier. Both level their respective trademark weapons, a BlasTech Industries DL-44 heavy blaster pistol for the former, and a crossbow-like bowcaster for the latter.

The renowned craftsmanship is evident in all of the fine details, from Chewie's intricately sculpted fur to the folds and creases in Han's clothing! Han Solo stands just over 7" tall and Chewbacca over 8" atop their included display bases, and magnets in their feet provide extra stability.

They were based upon state-of-the-art 3D scans of the actors, costumes, and props as well as original uniform and models from the Lucasfilm Archives, combined with traditional high end sculpting and painting, to develop the impeccable detail that these statues feature. The result is a fantastic realism.

It comes complete with original vintage box, making it an investment that will only get better with age.
