Being offered today is a group of SUPER RARE 5 piece consecutive $1 Dollar 1935 “A” series Silver Certificates that have all been graded in PCGS 66 Gem New PPQ. All of the notes carry an additional grading of Gem New and PPQ. The Gem New designation shows that the note looks like it was just printed. The PPQ stands for Premium Paper Quality. This grading is the highest you can get under the PCGS guidelines for a 66 grade. It is extremely rare to find five consecutive notes in a PCGS 66 Gem New PPQ grade.
The Silver Certificate is designated by the Blue Seal on the right center of the note. It also has “Silver Certificate” on the top center of the note. This lot has five consecutive notes. The serial numbers are T54454429C to T54454433C. PCGS is one of the top grading services in the business. PCGS stands for Professional Coin Grading Service.
