Login for PriceProduct Description
In 1956, thanks to its experience in the production of precision instruments, Officine Panerai filed the patent for the crown protection bridge, which would become the distinctive mark of the Luminor model: a reliable, resistant watch that is easy to read, especially underwater. The distinctive features of Officine Panerai's Luminor base, which remains today a unique, highly original watch, include: the large, minimal dial, easy to read even in the dark or underwater; the lever crown protection device (trademark protected) which shields the winding crown making it water-resistant; and a highly reliable movement, developed by Panerai in accordance with the dictates of Swiss watchmaking tradition.
Appraised at $8,700.
