R. Murphy Knives originally manufactured The Skinner for Herter's Inc., who called it the "George L. Herter Knife," but they were too good to simply retire. The Skinner knives are all new stock, made in the U.S.A, and finished in stabilized polished zebrawood for a gorgeous finessed finish.
