Quoddy
Men's Dorm Boot // Chestnut
Product Description
The Dorm Boot was originally invented to ward off the cold in the drafty old residences of Maine’s many prep schools and colleges. Quoddy's modern take on it—is built better than any slipper you’ve experienced. Handsewn twinface sheepskin with a soft glove leather collar, backed by a stout leather heel cover and pull tab. The Vibram® air-injected sole provides support and traction if you need to step outside but don’t want leave the cozy feeling behind.
Founded in 1909, Quoddy continues the tradition of shoemaking that goes back centuries. Their shoemakers work at wooden benches with leather, needle, thread, and a few basic tools to stitch, coax, and charm these humble materials into beautiful footwear. Built to last a lifetime, their shoes are sustainable and can be renewed by the same hands that created them. Quoddy stubbornly resists trading human touch for industrial efficiency, because their output is measured in quality, not quantity. These artisan skills have been passed down through generations, and the expertise can be seen and felt in each pair.
