Thomas Magnum (Texas Tea)
Product Description
QTRM5TR Knives is very proud to announce the completion of “Thomas Magnum,” the first fixed blade knife of their lineup. Its blade shape is based on the popular, modified-reverse tanto that originally appeared on the QTR-4 “Hannibal” design. From a standpoint of weight distribution: the blade shape is ideal for the interaction of the knife’s user and the handle, especially in “heavy cutting” scenarios. Having the extra material (steel) bulge out near the tip of the blade (far from the datum point) exponentially assists the cutter while the knife is in use. It’s been tested and proven to be enormously effective in a variety of chopping and hacking applications. Sure, the machining on the handle is aggressive, and the reason? We don’t expect you to be using this type of knife without gloves.
