Their team of citizen scientists have been growing dinoflagellates (aka PyroDinos) for several years. They isolated a single PyroDino dinoflagellate off the coast of San Diego several years ago, and have since grown trillions of PyroDinos from that one cell. With a little light and fresh filtered DinoNutrients, their bioluminescent PyroDino micro-aquariums produce mesmerizing blue light at night when gently swirled, while actively working to filter and refresh the air we breathe.
