PyroDinos + DinoNutrients
Product Description
PyroDinos are bioluminescent marine plankton classified as Pyrocystis fusiformis (aka Dinoflagellates). PyroDinos use light to grow (like a plant) and naturally glow blue at night when gently swirled or shaken. Much like a houseplant, they require light to grow, and work to refresh your space by pulling CO2 and other pollutants out of the air and replacing it with fresh oxygen. Enjoy them in the spout pouch or place them in your favorite clear container to see their magical, bioluminescent glow.
To keep your PyroDinos growing and performing their best, be sure to place them in a moderately well lit area out of direct sunlight and feed them with the included DinoNutrients once or twice a month.

FAQ
Yes, you can put these in a reef tank. They are a species of non-toxic
phytoplankton. Treat them as you would any phytoplankton (ie food
source).
Do not add any water except for DinoNutrients (purified seawater). The white PyroDino spout pouch should be stored in a lighted room. Loosen the cap on the pouch and leave the PyroDino pouch upright in a location that receives daily filtered sunlight and/or artificial light. Moderate temperatures are recommended. 9C to 31C (48F to 88F). Under these simple conditions, the white PyroDino spout pouch can thrive for several weeks, even months. The ideal temperature is 20C (68F).
How long does it stay lit?The natural light is transient. The algae will only produce light at night
and while swirled or shaken. If not in motion there will be no light production.
PyroDinos can be added to any clean clear container. If you crack the cap air-exchange will occur, CO2 in and O2 out.
How long does it last?PyroDinos are similar to a houseplant in care and longevity. PyroDinos are plant-like algae that require daily light and the occasional addition of DinoNutrients (bi-monthly). With proper care, PyroDinos will last for over a year or more. Our in-house PyroDinos have been growing and thriving for 8 years.
