This version of the Pulsefire comes preinstalled with a short range nozzle to comply with regulations and avoid requiring permission from the state fire marshal or other requirements.
Lightweight, compact, and handheld, the Pulsefire LRT (long range torch) is the safest and most effective way to apply fire at a distance. Whether you’re a professional involved in controlled burns or agriculture, and want to start the bonfire, eliminate weeds, or melt snow, the LRT is the most impressive tool for the job.
There’s no pressurized fuel canisters or pilot torches to worry about – when you press the trigger, the fuel pump draws gasoline from the reservoir and sends it through the nozzle, where it passes through an arc of plasma, kickstarting the flames.

While in another state can I change out the short range nozzle to the long range version?Yes, you can order a standard range nozzle from the EXOTHERMIC TECHNOLOGIES website and easily install it. We must advise you to not install it while in the state of California unless you have permission to do so from the relevant authorities.
