About the Designer

Peter Raacke was born in 1928 in Hanau, Germany where he learned goldsmithing. From 1958 until 1993 he was teaching Industrial Design in Kassel, Ulm and Hamburg. His lifework consists of several stages of development, from a creative artisan to a vanguard Industrial Designer.
