The legendary history of the Armenian brandy—Ararat brandy—dates back to 1887 when the merchant Nerses Tairyan founded the first Wine and Brandy Factory in Yerevan. Tairov’s factory released the “cousin” to French cognac in 1894 and obtained international recognition not long after.

First Responder Armenian Brandy is a premium brandy made ​​in the best traditions of Armenia. It's presented in a ceramic ambulance decanter in honor of first responders around the world. The blend includes choice spirits aged at least five years in barrels made of black oak Karabakh, from which the brandy draws multi-faceted aromas and a pleasant, expressive taste. The strength of the blend displays a maturity and elegance with a floral aroma.

Tasting Notes.
An agreeable and pure cognac without being overwhelming to the palate. Rich amber, caramel color with gold at the fringes. The nose is sweet caramel along with some notes of ripe grape and some alcohol heat. The palate on this is very hot and the body is on the thin side. There is a note of caramel and a touch of oak. It is an excellent digestif, as well as blends of coffee.
