The Constellation1797 is inspired by the USS Constellation, the first vessel put to sea by the United States Navy. On February 9th 1799, under the command of Captain Thomas Tuxton, the USS Constellation fought and captured the fastest ship in the French Navy, L'Insurgente. This defeat meant not only was the USS Constellation the first Naval vessel put to sea, it was also the first to defeat an enemy.

Within the decanter is an intricate glass ship inspired by the USS Constellation that is meticulously handcrafted while the 1150ml decanter is built around it. The spigot has an adjustable seal to ensure a leak-proof seal for life and wooden display base is handmade of solid oak by master carpenters in Kentucky. Last but not least, the ground glass stopper creates a durable airtight seal to last a lifetime.
