So begins the history behind Santo’s Tequila and Mezquila—both borne out of good friends, great food, a lot of tequila and the search for a taste revelation: “a higher spirit.” Together with award-winning chef and restaurateur, Guy Fieri, they found their virtuoso with Juan Eduardo Nuñez, the third-generation master distiller from the famed distillery El Viejito in the highlands of Jalisco. Sammy’s history of making world-renowned tequila, Guy’s world-famous taste buds, and Juan Eduardo’s award-winning craftsmanship, bring to life the portfolio of sinfully smooth old world style spirits.
Santo Tequila Blanco is made from only the finest 100% Blue Weber Agave from the highlands of Jalisco, Mexico. Smooth, with balanced and notable agave flavors, this unaged tequila has a full and complex taste complimented by earthy, white pepper and citrus aromas. Delicate spice and floral flavors add to the intensity of the agave.
Santo Tequila Reposado is a very special “Single Barrel Reposado” which is limited to only 360 bottles. These hand-selected bourbon barrels are sourced from only the highest quality bourbon distillers. Rested in a lightly charred barrel for 4 months, the result is a beautiful, smooth drinking Reposado. You can be sure that your purchase of this tequila is from one barrel and one barrel only. There will never be another tequila with the exact same characteristics.
