From the silent era to modern classics, Posteritati's downtown Manhattan gallery boasts a diverse collection of movie memorabilia from over 30 different countries.
Owner Sam Sarowitz has co-authored several books on movie posters culled exclusively from Posteritati's collection, including Art of the Modern Movie Poster and Translating Hollywood, both praised by the likes of Harper’s Bazaar, Vanity Fair, and Leonard Maltin — a "truly magnificent, if not monumental, work” (Film Comment, 2009).
This collection features classic Hollywood collectibles, including original and re-release versions of real movie posters, from countries around the world.
