American figurative painter Mel Ramos (b. July 24, 1935) is renowned mostly for his Pop Art style and depiction of the female figure, often nude and juxtaposed with branded logos and other commercial imagery. His work included in the collections of the Whitney Museum of American Art, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles, amongst others.
