About the Designer

Poketo is comprised of a husband and wife duo, Ted Vadakan and Angie Myung. Their indie brand, Poketo, was born out of a strong belief in "art for your everyday" and since the company's inception in 2003, the brand has grown and flourished from a creative enterprise into a leading lifestyle brand. Over the years Poketo has been commissioned by Nike, MTV, Weezer, Arcade Fire, SF Moma and Target for unique lines of products that were fun and functional. With products that range from messenger bags, laptop cases, water bottles, and umbrellas, Poketo has you covered. Ted and Angie have shared their expertise as guest lectures at the Parsons School of Design, Wharton School of Business, University of California San Diego, CalArts and Art Center College of Design among others.
