The anodizing is an electrochemical process that converts the metal surface into a decorative, durable, corrosion-resistant, anodic oxide finish. This protective coating is harder than the aluminum and protects your UFO top on spinning surfaces from wearing down over time. Splash anodizing is a labor-intensive method that creates a uniquely beautiful coating.

UFO Tops™ come in two designs, Roswell and Cussac, named and designed after the historic UFO sightings in Roswell, New Mexico and Cussac, France. The spherical shape of the Cussac comes directly from the eyewitness accounts of two children in France who described the UFO as a “perfect sphere.” Cussac, with its lightweight spherical design, creates a fast-spinning top that excels in upside-down spins. The circular shape makes it perfect for sidewinder spins.

This special edition version includes the LightRay Base. This base offers an unusual and attractive spot to store and display your top, and if you flip it upside down, you can even spin the top on the base's surface!
