Product Description
The Oceanuz visual similarity with the ocean is due to the centers of color that its crystalline structure contains. In contrast, green, blue and ultraviolet tones are found in the fluorite extracted from San Luis Potosí, Mexico.
Glass artists Orfeo Quagliata and Ernesto Duran created the TYME collection with the shared idea to create visual compositions full of color and texture. Born in San Francisco in 1972, Quagliata was attracted to glass from an early age. He began apprenticing for his father, Narcissus Quagliata, at age 12. Duran, on the other hand, didn't discover his passion for glass art until he was 24 when he founded Pietra Gallery. He grew up with a love for nature and a passion for collecting minerals, which is translated in his work today.
